1950's Style Campbell's Green Bean Casserole
Growing up there is a recipe I used to watch my grandrmother make at least 1x a month. She would usually serve it with some kind of protein. Usually she made pork chops to go with it. So simple and only needs 5 things and is very budget friendly.
Later she told me that she had been making it for nearly 30 years and got it from Campbell's soup company. I tracked it down and here’s the classic Campbell’s Green Bean Casserole recipe. I found that its been a staple since the 1950s for many families.
